SeaTrees is on a mission to restore coastal ecosystems—mangroves, kelp forests, coral reefs, and more—by working directly with local communities in the places we love to surf and dive.

One of their most impactful projects is in Laguna San Ignacio, Baja California Sur, where they’re restoring a massive mangrove forest that acts as a carbon sink, wildlife habitat, and natural ocean filter. (Yes, those tangled roots are way more powerful than they look.)
