Hi! I’m Christina Kuklinski, Founder & CEO of KOOK — an ocean-first beauty brand built for surfers, divers, and water lovers like me.
As a master scuba diver and beginner surfer, I’ve spent years in the water, feeling the damage that sun, salt, and wind can take. After logging 200+ dives living on boats, my hair was breaking, my skin was stripped, and I couldn’t find products that worked without harming the reefs I loved. So with the help of my best friend and certified Dive Master, Justin Lawee, I created KOOK: high-performance, reef-safe essentials that care for both your body and the sea.
Before launching KOOK, I spent a decade in brand strategy and consumer insights for global beauty companies like Unilever, L’oréal, and Wella. With a degree in Sociology, Entrepreneurial Leadership, and Mass Media Studies from Tufts University, I learned how to merge data with vision — a skillset I now apply to building KOOK into a community-driven brand rooted in performance and sustainability.
Every product is made in Los Angeles, tested in real ocean conditions, and gives back through our partnership with Seatrees — every jar purchased plants a mangrove in a Unesco World Heritage Site.
